Recent spikes in oil (petrol/ diesel) and cooking gas prices led to opposition parties in INDIA called for “Bharat Bandh” across nation, the impact of which was felt across Tankaria as well. See pictures below.

ટંકારીયા ગામ માં વાડીવાલા નાં ઘર ની સામે કન્યાશાળા રોડ ઉપર તથા સીતપોણ રોડ ઉપર ઉકરડા ઓ ને લીધે ખુબજ ગંદકી હોવાથી જેની JCB મારફતે સાફ-સફાઇ કરવા માં આવી હતી.

Sadiyah D/O Mohmedsajid Ibrahim Larya received a medal for Spellbee International examination which is conducted by Spellbee International [language for life] organization. Sadiyyah is studying in Delhi Public School [CBSE English Medium School] in std. 5th. Congratulation to Saiyyah and her entire family. 

Tankaria’s root to India’s freedom goes long back.  We, Tankarvis, all have a story or two about how great great grandfather took part in India’s independence movement, the struggle they witnessed and sacrifices they made. ભરૂચ તાલુકાના ટંકારીઆ ગામે આજરોજ શૈખુલ ઇસ્લામ ટ્રસ્ટ નું વિધિવત ઉદ્ઘાટન ખલિફા એ શૈખુલ ઇસ્લામ તથા જામે મસ્જિદ ના ઇમામ મૌલાના અબ્દુલરઝાક અશરફી સાહેબના વરદ્દ હસ્તે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ પ્રસંગે ટંકારીઆ ગામના લોકો મોટી સંખ્યામાં ઉપસ્થિત રહ્યા હતા.
આજરોજ ટંકારીઆ ગામે સમગ્ર ગામના લોકો માટે ભલાઈ નું કામ કરવાના અર્થે એક ટ્રસ્ટ નામે શૈખુલ ઇસ્લામ ટ્રસ્ટ નું વિધિવત ઉદ્ઘાટન આજરોજ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ ટ્રસ્ટ નું મુખ્ય કામ ગામમાં ચાલતા દીની મદ્રસ્સાઓના બાળકોને ઇસ્લામિક કોમ્પિટેશન રાખી ઇનામો આપી દિન પ્રત્યે રુચિ વધારવામાં આવશે. તથા ગામના ધોરણ ૧૦ અને ૧૨ માં ૮૦% ઉપર માર્ક્સ લાવનાર વિદ્યાર્થોને ઇનામો આપી તેમનું સન્માન કરશે. તથા ભવિષ્યમાં ધોરણ ૧૦ અને ૧૨ પછી શું કરવું તે વિષે કેરિયર ગાઈડન્સ આપશે. ગામના પુરુષો અને સ્ત્રીઓ માટે અલગ અલગ ઈજ્જતેમાઓ કરી દિન તથા ઈસ્લાહી પ્રવુત્તિઓથી માહિતગાર કરશે. તથા ઠંડી ની મોસમ માં ગરીબો તથા જરૂરિયાતમંદો ને શાલ / કંબલ / સ્વેટર જેવી જરૂરી વસ્તુઓ નું મફતમાં વિતરણ કરશે. તેમજ ઈદ એ મિલાદના મોકાઓ પર ગામમાં રોશની કરી શણગારવા જેવી પ્રવુત્તિઓ કરશે. તેમજ ગરીબો તથા જરૂરતમંદો ને આર્થિક મદદ કરવા ઉપરાંત અપંગો માટે વહીલચેર તેમજ અંધ તથા કમજોરો માટે લાકડાની ઘોડી જેવી વસ્તુઓ નું વિતરણ કરશે. તદુપરાંત કુદરતી આપત્તિઓ જેવી કે પૂર, દુકાળ ધરતીકંપ જેવી આફતો વખતે લોકોને જરૂરી મદદ પુરી પડશે. તથા રાહત કેમ ચલાવશે. તેમજ ગામની મસ્જિદો ને વખતો વખત સાફ સફાઈ કરાવશે.
આ ઉદ્ઘાટન પ્રસંગે ગામના લોકો મોટી સંખ્યામાં હાજર રહ્યા હતા.
