Tankaria and 7 surrounding villages are sealed off for any movement after a confirmed case of positive COVID-19 in Parkhet (a village 3 km from Tankaria). Gujarat Police in co-ordination with Tankaria Panchayat blocked all the entrance surrounding Tankaria.

We urge all citizens of Tankaria and surrounding village to strictly adhere to guidelines provided by medical professionals and to respect instructions provided by community leaders to avoid outdoor activities, maintain social distancing (keeping 6 feet distance when communicating with others) and wear a mask while conducting essential activities such as grocery shopping.

કોરોના વાઇરસની મહામારીમાં લોક ડાઉન ના પગલે તમામ ધંધાદારી તથા મજુરીયાત તથા નોકરિયાત વર્ગો પર આર્થિક સંક્રમણ વધી ગઈ છે. અને ખાસ કરીને રોજિંદા કમાઈને પોતાના કુટુંબનું ભરણપોષણ કરનાર વર્ગો પર મુસીબતો વધી ગઈ છે. જેને ધ્યાને રાખી ટંકારીઆ ગામના નવયુવાનો દ્વારા ઇંગ્લેન્ડના લેસ્ટર મુકામે કાર્યરત ચેરીટેબલ સંસ્થા ઘી ટંકારીઆ કોમ્યુનિટી સેન્ટર દ્વારા ગામના ગરીબ તથા મધ્યમવર્ગીય જરૂરિયાતમંદો માટે ફંડની સહાય ટંકારીઆ ખાતે કાર્યરત શૈખુલ ઇસ્લામ ટ્રસ્ટને પહોંચાડી હતી જે ફંડને શૈખુલ ઇસ્લામ ટ્રસ્ટ ટંકારીઆ દ્વારા ગરીબ તથા જરૂરિયાતમંદોને રોકડ સહાય નું વિતરણ કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. આ થકી શૈખુલ ઇસ્લામ ટ્રસ્ટ ટંકારીઆ ઘી ટંકારીઆ કોમ્યુનિટી સેન્ટર નો આભાર વ્યક્ત કરે છે.


મુસ્લિમોનો પવિત્ર શબેબરાત નો તહેવાર ની ટંકારીઆ તથા આસપાસ ના ગામોમાં એકદમ સાદગી પૂર્વક ઉજવણી કરવામાં આવી હતી. કોવિદ ૧૯ ના હાહાકાર વચ્ચે સમગ્ર પંથકે આ તહેવાર પોતાના ઘરોમાં રહી ફરઝ નમાજો ઉપરાંત નફિલ નમાજો, ઝિક્ર, કુરાને પાકની તિલાવત તથા દિગર ઈબાદતો પોતાના ઘરોમાં રહીને અદા કરી હતી. આ પ્રસંગે રાત્રે દરગાહો તથા કબ્રસ્તાનમાં જવાનો રિવાજ હોય છે પરંતુ કલેક્ટર સાહેબ ના જાહેર ફરમાન મુજબ તથા કલમ ૧૪૪ અંતર્ગત તેમજ અગમચેતીના ભાગ રૂપે તમામ દરગાહો તથા કબ્રસ્તાનોને બહારથી સીલ કરી દેવામાં આવ્યા હતા. અને તમામનો પ્રવેશ પ્રતિબંધ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો જેના સંદર્ભે લોકોએ પણ કબ્રસ્તાનો તરફ જવાનું તારીને પોતપોતાના ઘરોમાં રહી સરકારના લોકડાઉનના આદેશ નું સમર્થન કર્યું હતું. જામે મસ્જિદ ટંકારીઆ ના ખતીબ ઇમામ મૌલાના અબ્દુર્રઝાક અશરફી સાહેબે સમગ્ર માનવજાત ને આ મહામારીમાંથી મુક્ત કરવાની તથા ભારત દેશના તમામ દેશવાસીઓ ને અલ્લાહ તઆલા આ ભયંકર મહામારી માંથી મુક્તિ આપે એવી બારગાહે ખુદાવંદીમાં કાકલુદી સાથે દુઆ ગુજારી હતી.

શબેબરાત ના દિવસે ઘરમાં રહીને ઈબાદત કરવા મુસ્લિમોને હાકલ
કોરોના વાઇરસ ની મહામારીને ધ્યાને રાખી આ ભયંકર બીમારીને મ્હાત કરવા માટે મુસ્લિમ સમાજ સરકારને પુરેપુરો સહયોગ આપી રહ્યો છે. ગુરુવારના રોજ મુસ્લિમોનો તહેવાર શબેબરાત ના પ્રસંગે ટંકારીઆ ગામના ઇન્ચાર્જ સરપંચ શ્રીમતી મુમતાજબેન ઉસ્માન લાલન તથા ગામની તમામ મસ્જિદોના ટ્રસ્ટીઓએ અપીલ કરી છે કે તમામ મુસ્લિમ બિરાદરો પોતાના ઘરોમાં રહીને અલ્લાહ ની ઈબાદત ગુજારશો. કોઈ પણ ભાઈ બહાર ના નીકળે અને કબ્રસ્તાનો તરફ પણ પ્રયાણ ના કરે. અલ્લાહ પાસે તમામે તમામ બિરાદરો આ મહાભયકંર મહામારીમાંથી સમગ્ર દુનિયાને મુક્ત કરવાની દુઆ ગુજારવાની અપીલ પણ કરવામાં આવે છે.

May Allah SWT accept our charitable deeds and reward us in this world and the Hereafter. We pray to Allah SWT for health and safety for everybody in this difficult time.

The Tankaria Community in Leicester is very much attached and very co-operative on every occasion and demonstrates full solidarity to help each other in such difficult situations. We feel pride for our passion and love for our community.
