હાલમાં કોંકણ વિસ્તારોમાં ભારે પૂર આવ્યું હતું અને તેમાં કેટલાય ગરીબોને પારાવાર નુકશાન થયું હતું. તો આવા પૂરગ્રસ્ત વિસ્તારમાં મદદની ખેવના સાથે ટંકારીયાના એકતા ગ્રુપે કમર કસી હતી. અને આજરોજ ટંકારીઆ ગામેથી મદદ માટે કોંકણ ના ચિપલુન, રત્નાગીરી પાસેના ગામ મુરાદપુર તરફ ખાવા પીવાનો સરસામાન તથા ઘરવખરીનો સામાન તથા રોકડ રકમ રૂપિયા ૧૫૦૦/- નું કવર સાથે ૧૫૧ જેટલી કીટો તૈયાર કરી સામાન રવાના કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો. જે કોંકણમાં ઘરે ઘરે જઈને આપવામાં આવશે. તેમજ બીજો સામાન જેવોકે ૫ કિલો ચાવલની ૧૦૦ બેગ તથા ૧૦0 ઘઉં ની બેગો તદુપરાંત કંબલ, ચાદરો તથા નવા અને જુના કપડાઓ તથા રોકડા રૂપિયા ૪૦૦/- ના કવરો પણ બીજા ગામોમાં વહેંચવામાં આવશે. આ સામાન પૂરગ્રસ્ત વિસ્તારમાં લોકો પોતાના ઘરોમાં પરત આવે અને સ્થાયી થયા બાદ જરૂરતમંદોને ઘરે જઈ સામાન તથા કીટો વહેંચવાનો નિર્ણય એકતા ગ્રુપ દ્વારા કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો તે મુજબ જરૂરી તપાસ કરીને આજરોજ ટંકારીઆ ગામના યુવાનો પૂરગ્રસ્ત લોકોની મદદ માટે રવાના થયા હતા. અલ્લાહપાક આ નવયુવાનોની ખિદમતોને કબૂલ ફરમાવે. આ નેક કામમાં મદદ કરનાર ગામ તથા પરગામ તથા વિદેશોમાં વસતા તમામ ભાઈ બહેનોનો એકતા ગ્રુપ દિલથી આભાર વ્યક્ત કરે છે.

HAJIYANI AMINABEN HAJI ADAM KHODA W/O ADAMSAHEB TANKARVY passed away at Bolton [UK] inna lillahe wainna ilayhe rajeun. May ALLAH [SWT] grant her the best place in jannatul firdaush and provide Sabr-e-jamil to her entire family. Ameen.

One of our Tankarvi AFZAL S/O GULAM BHA who is staying at Vadodra has completed M. D. [Medicine] from St. Teresa medical university, Europea, Armenia. Congratulation to Afzal Gulam Bha.

Ayaz Bhuta, a “Golden Boy” as we all know him by, who defied all odds with utmost determination and hard work and made history by winning a Gold Medal at a Team Event in Paralympic, Japan. It’s a moment of great pride for our village and our community. It’s an achievement that will inspire many of our youth to work hard and never let anything come in your way to dream big and aim for greater goals in their lives for betterment of society. It’s the moment that need cherished and an achievement that need recognized.

And one of our great organization, Tankaria Welfare Society, UK which was created by Tankarvis decades ago to care for the concerns of Tankaria and celebrate our heritage and achievement, is doing exactly that. Tankaria Welfare Society is holding an annual general meeting this Saturday to celebrate the victory and honor Ayaz Bhuta and invites all Tankarvis of UK to be part of this memorable event.
