The Tankaria Welfare Society UK General Meeting and Get Together of Tankarvis will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday 13 June 2015 at 77 Dorothy Road, Leicester, UK, LE5  5DS, Insha Allah.

The intention is to get together and have a discussion about Tankaria’s welfare and development. Food will be served after meeting. Everybody is invited.

The American Cricket Club Association is a non-profit organisation founded and led by Arif Varu (Patel), Asif Patel (Kamboliwala), Ayaz Patel (Dahegamwala), Sadik Kothiwala, Sajid Patel and Sufiyan Dukanwala with the mission to promote the beautiful game of cricket in the Land of Dreams.

In a very short span of time,  the organisation was able to bring together several cricket teams under one umbrella and encourage the youth to participate in cricket at various stages and tournaments.

In an event held today at Lincolnwood, Chicago,  ACCA honoured Indian International Cricketer, Munaf Patel. Other guests were Air India Chief of Mid-West, Nukul Singh, community leader and business man Iftikhar Shareef and Jesal Patel.

One of our Tankarvis, Miss Ashiyana Yakub Basheri, has completed her third year of BAMS [Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery] with First Class Honours at GG Patel Ayurvedic College, Vallabh Vidyanagar, which is affiliated to the Gujarat Ayurvedic University.

Only six out of the 50 students have passed and she is third in the college.
