Qari Haji Ismail Khandia (Tankaria) (Elder brother of Aadambhai Khandhia/Uncle of Salim Khandhia Bankwala) of Derby UK has sadly passed away today إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُوْن May ALLAH [SWT] grant superior place in Jannatul firdaush. 

Imtiaz Ibrahim Jina of our village, who had gone to Bhalej [Anand] yesterday evening for work, died on the spot after an accident with a tractor near Gangapur village near Bhalej. Inna Lillahe Wainna Ilayhe Rajeun. May ALLAH [SWT] grant superior place in Jannatul firdaush. 

HAJI DAUD MUSA KHANDHIA [FATHER OF FIROZ KHANDHIA CHICKENWALA] passed away…………. Inna Lillahe Wainna Ilayhe Rajeun. Namaj e janaja will held at Bhadbhag graveyard after Zuhar prayer. May ALLAH [SWT] grant the best place in Jannatul firdaush. Ameen. 

Marriage function of “SARAH” D/O ILYAS ISMAIL GHODIWALA [BUILDING CONTRACTOR]  held at Darul Ulum Community Hall today. Congratulations Ilyaskaka.

ધન્ય છે ટંકારીઆની માટીને કે જેણે દુનિયાને વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રોના વિવિધ પ્રતિભા ધરાવતા મહાનુભાવો પ્રદાન કર્યા. ટંકારીઆના એવા જ એક સુવર્ણ પદક વિજેતા મિસ ફાતિમા ઇશાક ઢબુએ માઈક્રોબાયોલોજી વિષયમાં માસ્ટર ઓફ સાયન્સ (MSc – microbiology) લોક જાગૃતિ કેન્દ્ર યુનિવર્સિટી, અહમદાબાદમાં ટોપર રહી ગોલ્ડ મેડલ પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો છે. આ ગોલ્ડ મેડલ એમને ” ભારતના સેકન્ડ હાઈએસ્ટ સિવિલિયન એવોર્ડ “પદ્મ વિભૂષણ” ધારક ફાઇનાન્સ મિનિસ્ટ્રી ઓફ ઇન્ડિયાના પૂર્વ ઇકોનોમિક સલાહકાર, ઇન્ડિયન પ્લાનિંગ કમિશનના પૂર્વ ડેપ્યુટી ચેરમેન ડો. મોન્ટેકસિંહ આહલુવાલિયાના હસ્તે અર્પણ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો.

અત્રે જણાવવું જરૂરી છે કે, કુમારી ફાતિમા ઇશાક ઢબુ ગંભીર સિસ્ટીક ફેફસાની બિમારીથી પીડાય છે જેના કારણે તેણીને હંમેશાં 24/7 ઓક્સિજન પર આધાર રાખવો પડે છે છતાં તેણીએ સતત અને સખત મહેનત કરી આટલી મોટી સિદ્ધિ મેળવી તેણીના અને તેના કુટુંબના સપનાઓને સાકાર કર્યા છે.

Thanks to the soil of Tankaria which has given the world great personalities with different talents in different fields. One such gold medalist Miss Fatima Ishaq Dhabu from Tankaria has bagged gold medal as the topper in Master of Science (MSc – microbiology) from Lok Jagurti Kendra University, Ahmedabad in Microbiology. This gold medal was awarded to Dr. Montek Ahluvaliya, former Economic Adviser to the Ministry of Finance of India, former Deputy Chairman of the Indian Planning Commission, holder of India’s second highest civilian award “Padma Vibhushan”.

She suffers from a severe cystic lung disease which requires her to rely on oxygen 24/7 yet she relentlessly pushed hard and achieved her dreams.
