Progressive Muslim Education Trust (PMET) – Empowering Futures Through Excellence..
In the heart of Rander, Gujarat, the Progressive Muslim Education Trust (PMET) shines as a beacon of hope, opportunity, and excellence. Since its inception, PMET has shaped the destinies of thousands of students across the state of Gujarat, guiding them to become doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, civil servants, and leaders in their respective fields.
From NEET-JEE and CA coaching to Indian Civil Services preparation and the elite Gifted-30 program, PMET’s initiatives are designed to open doors that many students never dreamed possible. Year after year, PMET’s results surpass those of some of India’s most prestigious private institutions — yet what truly sets them apart is that their programs are offered free of cost.
This commitment to accessible, world class education is only possible through the generosity of supporters. Providing top-tier faculty, modern facilities, and comprehensive resources demands both dedication and financial strength.
To further strengthen the institution’s resources, Mohammed Patel, one of PMET’s founders, recently visited Canada and the USA. During his brief stay, Mohammed Bhai and Yusuf Saheb Laat (founder of PMET) met with PMET alumni and well-wishers in Chicago to discuss current initiatives, share ideas, and explore ways to secure the Trust’s financial future, ensuring that PMET can continue empowering students for generations to come.
Here is the brief message from Mohammed Patel-
“Dear All
Assalamoalykum ww
This is to express our gratitude to all those who attended the Chicago PMET group meeting.
The meeting was indeed a great success considering that all participants expressed to cooperate and agreed to meet periodically.
It was unanimously agreed to form the committee and exploring the possibility of registering with the local Govt. body. Many Thanks to Abid Bhai Munshi for sharing the idea and guiding the discussion.
People attending the meeting were very pleased to see the successful projects like Gifted30, CA and Civil Services.
We are thankful to Yaqub Haji Saheb and Gulam bhai Patel whose leadership and very passionate appeal to support all educational institutions in India involved in educational activities made the meeting very impactful.
Meeting was attended by highly qualified young people including three Gifted30 Alumni.
Hard work of Inayat Singdi, Abid Munshi, Shakill Bha, Ibrahim Bhai etc made it possible to organise the meeting at such a short notice. Special thanks to Sadiq bhai Kothi of Pak Sweets who graciously arranged delicious meals at no cost.
In Sha Allah, collectively we will bring sea of changes in educational upliftment of our community”
