Bolton, UK – September 2025 – Vahora Voice UK (VVUK) hosted a landmark Book Launch and Youth & Community Recognition Event at the 3D Centre, Bolton.

Two important books were unveiled: British Indian Gujarati Muslim Communities – Early Settlers: History and Heritage by Imtiaz Patel Varediawala (Tankarvi), and The Family/Social System of Islam by Moulana Muhammed Iqbalsaheb Tankarvi launched by the Mayor of Bolton Council Councillor David Chadwick and Mayoress Valerie Chadwick.

The gathering, described as “historic and memorable,” welcomed the Mayor and Mayoress of Bolton alongside scholars, writers, educators, entrepreneurs, community leaders, councillors, and young creatives.

Islamic Scholar-Moulana Muhammed Iqbalsaheb Tankarvi highlighted the timeless relevance of Islamic family and social systems, while Fellow Islamic Scholar-Moulana Muhammedsaheb Adam Rokad stressed the need for grounding modern life in enduring principles of morality, CEO of Batley Multi Academy Trust-Samantha Vickers underlined the academic importance of migration histories, and Educationist, Poet-Tankarvi praised the works as strengthening identity and heritage.

Entrepreneur Yousufbhai Bhilok spoke of parallels between entrepreneurship and community-building, while young poet-Imtiaz Fansiwala reflected on art, culture and heritage as a bridge between generations. Saeedbhai Manubari (Chair of BV UK) reminded attendees of the struggles and sacrifices of the early settlers.

The evening also featured Youth and Community Recognition Awards, celebrating contributions in education, business, health welfare, and the creative industries, fostering pride and intergenerational unity.
