Gujarati literature lost one of its most beloved and decorated poets. “Sufi” always put a smile on audiences’ faces with his hazals. His easy to understand witty poems contrasted life back home with life as an immigrant and was very much loved by the Gujarati community. This is not only a loss for Gujarati literature, but for the whole community.

“Sufi” may not be with us any more, but his writings will always remind us of his larger than life persona.

You will always be remembered … “Sufi”.

A very good friend of many Tankarvis, Haji Mohamed Musa Sufi Manubari, has passed away after a very short illness. Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. He was buried in Bolton, UK today.

May Allah SWT grant him the best place in Jannatul Firdous and give Sabrun Jameel to his family and friends. Ameen.

MALALANE CC of South Africa won t20 final. One of the factor contributing to their win is the performance of Azaz dahya of Tankaria who made 243 run in 6 innings (not out in 2 innings). He also took 11 wicket. Recognizing his achievements, Malance Cricket Club awarded him with “Best Player”.

Many congratulations to Azaz and his team on win and wish him luck for next season.

ભરૂચ તાલુકાના ટંકારીઆ ગામે આજરોજ મોટા પાદર મદ્રસ્સા હોલ માં મિસ્બાહી વેલ્ફેર મિશન ભરૂચ ના સહયોગથી મહિલાઓ માટે સમાજ ના સુધારણા માટે નો એક ઈજતેમાં નું આયોજન કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
મળતી માહિતી અનુસાર જિલ્લાની મહિલાઓમાં સમાજ ના સુધારણા માટેના ઈજતેમાહનું આયોજન મિસ્બાહી વેલ્ફેર મિશન ભરૂચ ના સહયોગથી કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું. જેમાં આલીમાં તસ્લીમા બેન (થામ), આલીમાં અઝીમાબેન (માંગરોળ), આલીમાં ફાતિમાબેન (માંગરોળ), આલીમાં ગુલ અફશાબેન (નબીપુર), આલીમાં રોઝમીનાબેન (કહાન), આલીમાં નાઝરાના બેન (કહાન), આલીમાં શબનમબેન (ઇખર), આલીમાં મુનીરાબેન (ટંકારીઆ) વક્તા તરીકે હાજર રહ્યા હતા. આ ઈસ્લાહી પ્રોગ્રામ માં બે હાજર થી પણ વધુ બહેનો એ ભાગ લીધો હતો. વક્તા ઓ એ માનવતાવાદી અભિગમ અપનાવવાની હાજર રહેલ બહેનો ને વિશ્ત્રુત માં સમજણ આપી હતી.
આ કાર્યક્રમ ને કામયાબ બનાવવા મિસ્બાહી વેલ્ફેર મિશન ના કાર્યકર્તાઓ એ ભારે જહેમત ઉઠાવી કાર્યક્રમ ને સફળ બનાવ્યો હતો.
