એક દુઃખભરી ખબર મળી છે કે મુફ્તીએ ગુજરાત, ઈલ્મી અને રૂહાની શખ્સિયત વીરપુરના સૂફી સંત દરિયાઈ દુલ્હાના વંશજ પીર સૈયદ હાજી કમરુદ્દીન બાવા કારંટાવાળા આ ફાની દુનિયા છોડી ગયા છે. ઇન્ના લીલ્લાહે વઈન્ના ઈલય્હે રાજેઉન. મર્હુમની તડફીન કારંટા મુકામે ઈશાની નમાજ બાદ થશે. એક સમયે મર્હુમ દારુલ ઉલુમ અશરફીયા મુસ્તુફાઈય્યાહ ટંકારીઆના સરપરસ્ત પણ હતા. અલ્લાહ પાક મર્હુમની બાલ બાલ મગફિરત ફરમાવે.
