Marathon Gang Curry: Pride of Our Community in England
The London Marathon, a competition that is 26 miles long, is held in the hustling and bustling capital of the United Kingdom every year and attracts athletes from all around the world. To be a part of this competition and represent your town, charity or an organisation is an honour and this year six brothers from Dewsbury joined in and ran this highly regarded race.
Brothers lyas Patel, Imran Patel, Harun Umarji, Aziz Patel, Hamid Patel and Ismail Patel from Savile Town ran for the charities “Get Kids Going” and “VICTA”.
Get Kids Going provides grants and sports wheelchairs for disabled children and young people so that they can participate in sport.
VICTA supports blind and partially sighted children, young people and their families.
Many congratulations to these brothers on behalf of all our visitors.
