US President’s executive decision on Friday to ban refugees and visitors from 7 countries is widely condemned by rights group and members of both parties. It is widely regarded  as ban against specific regligion and against humanity. Those who are traveling or granted refugee status are mostly children and women. There are wide spread demonstrations in all over US airports and towns to lift ban.

Manubarwala Munshi school, Bharuch, held annual school function last week. School has a reputation in good education. Thousands of students have achieved their dreams thru this medium.  We pray that school and it’s students continue to achieve more success and many more good will come out of this great institution that will help improve the condition of our community and society.

Haji Adam Saheb Lali, Tankaria’s beloved son, was given a tour of Tankaria High School by Haji AiyubBhai Miyanzi and Haji YakubBhai Bhutawala.

As we all know, It was a gigantic project and it was because of personal sacrifices of many of these individuals’ and every single Tankarvi around the world who came to together which yielded us with a beautiful Highschool building. With this building we have secured the future of our community for another centuary. The building is beautiful, functional and spacious. However, this school needs more work. The management would like to equip each classroom with Smartboard- an interactive board connected to computer and which allows teacher to explain from a different perspective. This addition will not only help children want to learn more and interest them but will help teachers with their time and subject material. Most western countries have recognized the need of Smartnoard and almost all Highschool classroom are equipped with it

Let’s all work with determination to provide our kids with techonology and equipments for them to succed by equipping At least each higher secondary classroom with Smartboard in near future.

Bharuch Vohra Patel Charitable Trust is holding NRI meeting in Bharuch today at 630pm.  The aim of the program is to bring all NRI under one roof and highlight Trust’s activities and goals. Trust also aims to colasce NRI’s effort thru organization to tackle issues affecting the community the most.

This is the month of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) birthday. His (SAW) birthday was celebrated today in Preston, ENGLAND.

All India Bharuchi Vohra Core Members attended a Unique Meeting at Munshi Complex Bharuch. Gujarat today Editor Aziz Tankarvi and Ex Assi. Commissioner Mustak Godiwala from Ahmedabad, Industrialist Faruk KP, Mustak Patel (Surat branch Secretary), politician Mustak Patel from Surat, Iqbal Patel and Babubhai Ikharwala from Bombay, Many Active and valuable Supporters from Bharuch, Vagra, Amod, Jambusar and Karjan Taluka attended. All India Core Committee has been established with 2/3 members from each Area. Rs 3.5 Lakhs commited for working funds.

Iqbal Ibrahim master Khoda, brother in law of Ismail Master Khunawala of Tankaria, passed away yesterday in Ahmedabad. Inna Lillahe Wainna Ilayhe Rajeun. May Allah SWT  grant him a place in Jannat ul firdous and sabr to his family member. Aameen

Chicago elates in celebration after their baseball team becomes World Series Champion after 108 years. The game that tested each team and their fan base’s patience becuase combined between both teams hey had waited almost 178 years in making. It was covered by almost every major world media network and took in more than 50 million viewers.

Farheen Mustaq Ali Patel (Rakhda) received first rank at prestigious Nirma Institute in Ahmedabad and was awarded with Gold medal for her M. Sc. ( Master of Science) Biochemistry. Farheen belong to Rakhda family of Tankaria and family is currently living in Raykhand area of Ahmedabad. It is also to be noted that Farheen had received similar success during her B. Sc.  Education.
