Beautiful evening in Tankaria…
A Science fair was held today at Tankaria Kumar Shala (Boys School). Children were given opportunity to display their science projects and opportunity to learn about other students’ work. Teachers also appreciated every child’s energy and enthusiasm.
Recent spikes in oil (petrol/ diesel) and cooking gas prices led to opposition parties in INDIA called for “Bharat Bandh” across nation, the impact of which was felt across Tankaria as well. See pictures below.

We, Tankarvis, all have a story or two about how great great grandfather took part in India’s independence movement, the struggle they witnessed and sacrifices they made.
