Shaikhul-Islam Trust of Tankaria branch decorated Jama Masjid Tankaria for upcoming Eid-e-Milad Nabi (SAW).

As many of you are aware that the compound wall that covers the entire perimeter of Bhadbhag Kabrashtan is in very bad shape. Many parts along the wall have either fallen off or about to fall off. The compound wall is in urgent repair. Current estimate is approximately 750,000 Indian Rupees. Our global community is requested to donate ONLY Lillah donation toward this repair work. Tankaris is always in the hearts of Tankarvis. Love for our land and well-being of its citizens is always there, no matter where and how long we stay away from the motherland. One of the great example is our NRI brother Abdul Bhai Chheliya of Leicester, UK. In order to prevent diseases and improve conditions of Tankarvis, Abdulbhai lent helping hand to bring in heavy equipments and supplies to clean piles of waste in and around the village. He also ensured that the entire village is sprayed with medicated powder to kill germs. We, on behalf of all My tankaria visitors thank Abdulbhai for his noble work. May Allah SWT reward you with best of both worlds.

Tankaria High School, Tankaria organized “Clean India” or “Swachcha Bharat” campaign to mark the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi. The students took park in events and marched thru streets of Tankaria to bring awareness about cleanliness and avoiding use of plastic bags. Many thanks to Tankaria High School management team for such efforts and to all students for their participation.

Nawfal Delawala, Son of Hanif Issa Delawala of Tankaria, has completed degree in Optometry from University of Limpopo in South Africa. On behalf of My Tankaria global family, we congratulate brother Nawfal and his family and wish him the best in his career.
