As Tankaria Bazaar was hustling and bustling with customers and vendors this morning, a young child took an advantage of crowd and ran away with the purse of one of the female customer. Authorities and villagers are taking this small incident very seriously and taking all steps to catch the thief.

Iqbal Bhai Dhoriwala of U.K. met with India’s Rajya Sabha MP and Treasurer of All India Congress Party Janab Ahmed Patel Sir at his native village Piraman. In a formal meeting that took place at his home, issued were discussed related to current status of society and welfare activities. It is very motivating that Ahmed Bhai is thoroughly aware of unification and community uplifting projects through social media and was very pleased and praised efforts of all individuals involved. He also offered his full support for community projects.

A Mushaira program was held last night at Makki Educational Academy in Chicago, USA. Renowned poets of Gujarati literature Adam Tankarvi, Mukesh Joshi and Anil Chavda attended the program along with Bharat Bhai Desai and Abdul-wahid Soj from Chicago. Poets showered the audience with their fun-filled but deeply moving and meaningful poems. On behalf of Chicagoland Gujarati community, Bashir Bhai Menk thanked poets for making time from their busy schedule and for memorable evening
