Tankaria Mashvera meeting was held today Saturday, June 26th 2021 at Hot Print office in Bolton, UK.

Well-wishers and committee members from Bolton, Blackburn, Preston, Lancaster, Leicester, Dewsbury and Birmingham attended the meeting. Report will be presented by President Mohammed Shafik Patel on a later date.

Committee members are requesting to make Dua that Allah SWT bless the organization with success by helping it fulfill aims and objectives. Many thanks to Brother Faruk Ughradar for sharing news and pictures with My Tankaria Global Family.

Vallibhai Kapadia (uncle of Salim Kapadia, Inayat Kapadia, Babu Kapadia) passed away at Preston, UK. Inna Lillahe Wainna Ilayhe Rajeun. May Allah SWT grant him a place in Jannat ul Firdaus. Aameen.

Nikah Ceremony of Hasim Irfan Pavadia was held in Johannesburg, S Africa. The ceremony was performed by Mufti Ismail Menk and attended by many Tankarvis. Many congratulations to Pavadia family. A big thank you to Azaz Dahya for sharing these pictures with My Tankaria family.

Hajiyani Rabyaben W/O Haji Aiyubbhai Miyanji (Tankaria), sister of Late Ibrahim Bhai Nathaliya of Leicester, passed away today at Vancouver Canada.

May ALLAH SWT grant her a place Jannatul firdaus and Sabre jameel to family. Ameen

Another round of snow brings in over feet of snow all across Chicagoland area and paralyses entire city. The snow storm, which has blanketed the area ranging from Texas to all the way New York has brought mass transit to stall and infrastructure under huge stress. Many states including Texas are also under widespread black out.

Mubarak Bhai Patel (Miyanji), brother of Dr. Muhammad Miyanji of Tankaria, has passed away today in Chicago. Please make dua for his magfirah and ask Allah SWT to give him the best of Jannah. May Allah SWT provide ease and comfort to the family in these difficult times.

We ask Allah SWT to give Shifah to those that are not well and forgive all of the Ummah that has passed away as well and also for those who are still alive. Aameen.

Funeral and sitting will be limited to immediate family only due to Covid.

Many of us recently heard about Issa brothers of Blackburn, UK and their purchase of Asda, One of the largest grocery chain in England. The deal is worth close to 8.8 billion US dollars. This is a remarkable feet and unbelievable story when you read about their humble beginnings.

Both brothers’ root belong to Manubar village of Bharuch district. Their parents migrated to England in 60s to work in textile industry. Their parents bought a fuel station where both brothers cleaned and help around. After a while, they sold the fuel station but brothers continued to look for the right opportunity. In 90s, both brothers decided to buy a fuel station but this time around they had a different idea. They knew that it Was difficult to make money off from petrol/ diesel they sell But the real money was in experience they would sell to general people who come to fill the fuel so they made their gas station a food court. Their gas stations became new benchmark and new standard. It was a place where motorist would find a spot to fill up gas, snack up and rest up for journey ahead. Decade later, brothers ended up buying a biggest fuel chain in Europe and named Euro garages. They also entered US market around 2015 and finally last month, Issa brothers teamed up a financial firm to acquire majority share from Walmart to become partner in Asda, a British iconic brand.

Even coming at this stage, Issa brothers are still rooted in Blackburn and continues to make Blackburn their home. They support many local charities and educational institutions.

This is a great a moment of pride for all Bharuchi Vohra community. Issa brothers’ story is an inspiration to thousands of youth across the world. With hard work and dream, you can achieve anything.
