Heatwave sweeps across area with temperature crossing 110°F (~43°C)  in afternoon hours.  Heat is so intense that people have been asked to stay indoors and stay hydrated.

We, also request our fellow villagers to take extra precautions and hold any travel arrangements unless absolutely needed.  Make sure to stay hydrated. Hope that weather gets cooler soon.

First meeting of Bharuch Vohra Patel (BVP) was held today in Bolton, England.

In recent months,  there have been spike in attacks on Indian community in S Africa leaving more than 30 plus young men and wonen dead and several more injured.  These incidences usually start out with either robbery or looting and end up in deadly assault. The most recent nincident involved death of one young sister from Palej area.

There have been not much bren protection to community there.

Families back home are concerned, worried and frustrated. Our local leader and social activitist Abdul Bhai Kamthi has filed formal request to collector of Bharuch to channel the frustration of loved one to Indian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister such that it can be brought forward to the Government of S Africa to protect citizens of India.  

Mustaq Daula, dedicated and tiredless admin brother of our belobed village’s website is in Kerala, with family.

Adam bhai Kakuji, a social worker and community leader who always felt pain for the community such that spent most his life for the services of our community in Bharuch, Surat and nearny area has passed away in Udhna, Surat.

Words won’t justify his services to community so we make dua to Almighty to reward him with the good of the world  hereafter. May Allah Almighty rest him in peace and give him a place in Jannat ul Firdaush. Aameen

Haji Ibrahim Ismail Lalan, father of Rashid Lalan (Blackburn) passed away in Tankaria.  Inna lillahe wainna ilayhe rajeun.
