Chicago Gujarati Community welcomed well-known writer & poet Janaab Adam Tankarvi along with Ali Bhai Bhim “Sagar Tankarvi” and Abdul Wahid Soz of Chicago at a packed Mushayra event held on Sunday evening at Makki Educational Academy’s (MEA) auditorium hall in Chicago.

The Program began with introduction and welcome speech by Janaab Yakub Dadabhai. Then Adam Saheb filled the evening with his trademark smooth voice and poetry which audience couldn’t get enough of. Ali Bhai Bhim “Sagar Tankarvi” and Abdul Wahid Soz supplemented the program with their creativity and deep, thought provoking poems. Chief guest Janaab Yusuf Saheb Laat of Progressive Muslim Education Trust (PMET) also provided brief overview of PMET’s activities in educational field, while Dr. Saeeda who runs NGO Waterwish.org (which makes basic necessity such as water accessible to hundreds of thousands of communities in underdeveloped countries) made the audience aware of her organization’s noble activities. Finally, Janaab Yakub Dadabhai concluded the program with a thanks note to the MEA Organization as well as the audience.

શિકાગો ગુજરાતી કોમ્યુનિટી દ્વારા શિકાગોમાં મક્કી એજ્યુકેશનલ એકેડમી (MEA)ના ઓડિટોરિયમ હોલમાં રવિવારે સાંજે આયોજિત ભરચક મુશાયરાના કાર્યક્રમમાં અલીભાઈ ભીમ “સાગર ટંકારવી” અને શિકાગોના અબ્દુલ વાહિદ સોઝ સાથે જાણીતા લેખક અને કવિ જનાબ આદમ ટંકારવીનું સ્વાગત કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.

કાર્યક્રમની શરૂઆત જનાબ યાકુબ દાદાભાઈ e પરિચય અને સ્વાગત પ્રવચનથી kari હતી. પછી આદમ સાહેબે તેમના ટ્રેડમાર્ક અવાજ અને કવિતાથી સાંજને યાદગાર બનાવી. અલીભાઈ ભીમ “સાગર ટંકારવી” અને અબ્દુલ વાહિદ સોઝે પણ તેમની સર્જનાત્મકતા અને ઊંડી, વિચારપ્રેરક કવિતાઓ સાથે કાર્યક્રમને sundar બનાવ્યો. મુખ્ય અતિથિ જનાબ યુસુફ સાહેબ લાતે શૈક્ષણિક ક્ષેત્રે PMET ની પ્રવૃત્તિઓની ટૂંકી ઝાંખી પૂરી પાડી હતી, જ્યારે વોટરવિશ.org na ડૉ. સઈદા e (જે લાખો સમુદાયો માટે પાણી જેવી મૂળભૂત જરૂરિયાતો સુલભ બનાવે છે)  પ્રેક્ષકોને તેણીની સંસ્થાની ઉમદા પ્રવૃત્તિઓથી વાકેફ કર્યા. અંતે, જનાબ યાકુબ દાદાભાઈએ MEA સંસ્થા તેમજ શ્રોતાઓનો આભાર માનીને કાર્યક્રમનું સમાપન કર્યું.

Progressive Muslim Education Trust (PMET), one of the finest educational organization in the State of Gujarat, India; has been actively engaged in promoting education within the Muslim community for over decades. For years, the organization runs on a simple premise to support educational needs of Muslim students, nurture their talents and provide them with guidance to achieve their potential. Some of the its programs such as “Gifted 30”, outshines programs run by several top national institutes. The organization identifies and provides guidance, support and platform to students to achieve academic excellence as well as prepares many of them for some of the toughest exams in India such as NEET-JEE, UPSC, GPSC and CA. There may not be a single country where you won’t find a former student who has directly or indirectly benefited from this prestigious organization.

The credit for the success goes to countless people who have worked tirelessly for this organization and Mohammed Bhai Bhaiji and Yusuf Saheb Laat are one of them who dedicated their lives for this mission.
