:Fire in Mota Padar Khari, Tankaria:
Dry air & extreme weather conditions caused a massive fire in Khari (also used as Cricket ground) in Tankaria
Mota Padar.
As the season of harvesting is over and people already sold the final products, it was just the dry plants remainings on the
ground. At around 4pm in evening, suddenly people noticed a fire and then extreme heat & dry hot air spread it all over
the place. Fortunately, no one is hurt and no major loss of income or damage to the property has been reported. This
was a scary incident passed by and Alhamdulillah no major damages done.

Ghulam Musa Bhai Ghodiwala from Tankaria was recently involved in a major accident. He was treated for major injuries
on head at baroda Hospital but now he is in good shape and feeling great. Alhamdulillah. During this time, we did not the
update news on his accident as other relatives or friends may worry about his health. But, with your duas & rahmat from
Allah (SWT) he is back home in Tankaria & back to his normal life.
He is sending a thank note to every single person who were aware of this accident and included him in their duas. He

The new road construction in Halalat Street is complete and in use now as you can see in the following picture. This is a
great convenience to resident in that street, specially in rainy season. In monsoon, this area used to get all muddy &
slippery walkways. As both Masjid are right there in 2-3 blocks away, it really makes life easier for Namazis who have to go
to Masjid during those wet days.

Janaab Musa Bhai Laheri, father of Salim Laheri passed away last week in Tankaria. He was one of the oldest Tankarvi
living & one of the first teachers of Tankaria. He was well respected amongst Tankarvis & other villagers as he taught in
various schools & his students are now in different countries.
May Allah (SWT) rest him in peace & grant him higher place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Ameen.

It is wedding season in Tankaria and there were 2 weddings in 2 days. Yesterday, son of Daud Bhai Chamad got married
to daughter of Ismail Bhai Sapa. Valima ceremony was held today. Today, there was a wedding of Aiyub Master Ama's
daughter. Also, son of Dilawar Dabgar, Iqram Dabgar got engaged to the daughter of Yakub Bhai Bha in Tankaria. The
ceremony was held on Sunday morning in Tankaria.

1.Haji Abdullah Umarji Bapu (Patel),father-in-law of Gani Seth Khandhiya (Tankaria) & Mehbub Ghulam Lalan (England)
passed away in early morning on Thursday in Manubar village, India. His Namaj-e-janaza was held in Manubat after
Dhuhr namaz. He served as an Assistant Registrar at Gujarat High Court for his entire life and was a very respected
name in Gujarati community in India & in Leicester, England.
May Allah (SWT) rest him in peace & give him Jannat-ul-Firdaus. Ammen.

2.The wife of Musabhai Sutarya of Skelton Road, Forest Gate, London passed away today. The Janaza namaz was held

:News from Tankaria:
It is very foggy in Tankaria today on Sunday March 21st. The fog is so thick that you can not even see 20 feet far.
However, on any other day now-a-days, it is extremely hot. You can imagine how hard it is for students & other Tankarvis
when the temperature is 40-45C at just 10am in morning.
In other news, 'Team Tankaria' is working really hard by getting approval and taking on more new project on a monthly
basis. This time, our village is getting two new RCC roads in two streets. One is in Halalat Street & other is by a
new colony in Amba Stand. Work will start soon. Main roads & most of the streets in Tankaria already have RCC roads.
Last year, our team (Village Panchayat, Taluka Panchayat& Dist. Panchayat members) completed the road connecting
Kabir street by Bangla Stand to the main Bharuch-Palej Road.
May Allah (SWT) help our team to fulfill all projects. Ameen.

2. In other news, Lalit Modi, the Chairman of IPL is considering some matches of IPL in USA & Canada next year.
USA has 15 million cricket fans & has similar game like Baseball which is very popular. IPL wants USA/Canada teams to
take part in it. This is a big opportunity for the person living in US & plays cricket. There are good chances if you are in
your league team, you may end up playing alongside of Sachin or Matthew Hayden.

:Sad News from Tankaria:
Zuber Kaji (Age 23) & Samir Abdul Majid (age 15) , friends from Tankaria passed away in Tankaria yesterday in a tragic
accident. Both friends decided to go for swimming because of unbreable hot weather. They went to Narmada canal &
never returned back. At around late night, when two friends never came back, their families started to worry about them &
village people started to look for them. However, after a long search their dead bodies were found in the Narmada Canal.

Both families are shocked and the whole village is stunned of this incident. Similar incident happed about few years back
when another youngster was carried away in the water of Narmada canal.

:N.R.I. Brothers coming together to encourage students in Ikhar:
Ikhar, a small village in Bharuch district & a good neighbour of Tankaria, is famous for Munaf Patel, our only Vohra Patel
Cricketer to play for Indian Cricket Team after Rashid Patel; Kamboli. Bibi Ben Memorial Trust, another well-known name
in Ikhar village does a lot of good work in the field of education & medical for it's natives & community in general. A trust is
headed by a couple from New Jersey (former teacher at Tankaria High School & also a teacher of Makek Tankarvi,
Tankaria's well-known poet, writer).
In time for SSC & HSC (Board Exams), Bibi Ben Memorial Trust organised a programme to encourage students taking
the tests. The purpose of this event was to prepare students for bigger & more real-life challenges after the test, to make
them comfortable in-time for the exams with words of support. Local MP, governing body, school staff, parents & visiting
NRIs took part in this event. This trust also spends thousand of Rupees every year to help needy students pursue their
career & fulfill the dreams of their families. One noticeable example is a student from Ikahr getting higher education in
Medicine (after completing Doctorate in Medicine in India) at University in London with the help of this trust &
the noble couple.
In the 21st century, this is what we need, education & awareness. Love for the community & actions to fulfill it.
May Allah (SWT) bless these people with wealth & determination. May Allah (SWT) reward them for this noble work.

:Eid-e-Milad Nabi (SAW) in Tankaria:
Eid-e-Milad was celebrated in Tankaria yesterday. The programme started out with Naat & Quran recitation in morning at
4am. Then after Fazr, Zulus was carried out. The morning of any festival is always very busy in Tankaria. Then, after
Zulus, everyone flocked into the Masjid to get the look at the Prophet Muhammed's (SAW) Hair Mubarak. This time, there
were few new historical items were there to see. Those included the coins from the time of one of the Khalifah of
Muhammed (SAW). Also, the piece of cloth from the Kaaba in Makka & from the Roza Mubarak in Medina.
