Sarpanch* of Tankaria: Mr. Ahmed Khoda.
Tankaria is proud to have
Sarpanch like Ahmed Khoda; A long served D.Y.S.P. for the
Govt. Of Gujarat, India; now serving his birthplace. Under his leadership Tankaria has
seen some major improvements in various fields. Tankaria has a huge architectural
entrance,  reflecting its grand reputation. We also have 'Water Filtration Plants' which
satisfy the thirst for clean and healthy water. Thanks to a collective efforts put in by
people of Tankaria and our hard working
Sarpanch. Words are not enough to describe
his great contributions to Tankaria.

(*Sarpanch is a Gujarati word for the elected leader of the village. Sarpanch is elected by residence of
village every 5 years and works with elected ward members)

Tankaria is second biggest village in Bharuch District with the population around 15000.
